Santa Fe Springs, CA (April 13, 2020) – Target Specialty Products, a leading value-added service provider of pest and turf and ornamental solutions in the United States and Canada, is excited to announce part five of the Turf Fuel® Master Class™, a Business Growth Webinar Series.

Target Specialty Products is hosting an interactive panel discussion with golf course superintendents to discuss the superintendent’s perspective on closures and maintenance during the COVID-19 crisis. Click here to register for the webinar.

“Since this pandemic started to impact North America in mid-March, our superintendent customers have been sharing their thoughts and concerns with our sales representatives,” commented David Helt, President of Target Specialty Products, “This webinar will be an interesting forum to share these thoughts publicly.”

Kyle Barton, has recently begun his tenure as Golf Course Superintendent at Naperville Country Club just outside Chicago, Illinois.  He recently won the GCSAA Grassroots Ambassador Leadership Award. As golf courses are closed in the State of Illinois, Barton is conducting minimal course maintenance during the COVID-19 crisis.

Ken Bruneski has been the Golf Course Superintendent at Nk’Mip Canyon Desert Golf Course in Oliver, British Columbia for 14 years.  He is currently the B.C. Director of the Canadian Golf Superintendents Association. Golf is currently allowed in British Columbia, but Nk’Mip Golf Course has voluntarily closed during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Ian Daniels is the Golf Course Superintendent at Teugega Country Club in Rome, New York. Ian is a GCSAA Grassroots Ambassador.  New York State recently prohibited golf courses from operating, and after several days of golf taking place at Teugega this spring, the golf course has closed for play.

“We are thankful for the opportunity to have a public discussion with these professionals about the very difficult situation we are in as an industry. The webinar will hopefully help attendees get new perspectives on how their peers are handling the crisis,” comments Mark Jull, Turf Fuel Business Manager.
